Wear comfortable outfits that candidates can sit in for a long period

Dress simple and smartly

Wear clothes that are not too complicated. Do not wear overly decorated clothes such as patterns or prints 

Do not wear clothes with several pockets

Avoid using hair accessories like big and fluffy hair ties or hair clips

Make sure the upper clothing is half-sleeved such as T-shirts 

Avoid wearing ornaments except for bangles. However, this is only applicable to candidates who are married. 

Avoid wearing chains or shades (Sunglasses)

Candidates are allowed to wear denim bottoms, leggings, or churidars that are simple-looking

Avoid wearing fancy T-shirts that have complicated patterns or heavy graphic designs. Keep it plain and simple.

Avoid wearing sneakers or chunky heels. The footwear that is allowed is only open-toed like sandals of chappals. 

Choose clothing that does not have metallic buttons

Sarees are strictly banned inside the exam premises.

Do not wear any ornaments 

Dress lightly to avoid any suspicion of hiding exam material 

Candidates must reach the exam center in advance in case of clearance for any religious headwear  

For a smooth biometric process, avoid any odd markings such as henna or ink tattoos 

A jumper with a hood attached is not allowed 

Wear sweatshirt and half-sleeved tops 

Denim bottoms with simple patterns or with no designs are allowed 

Avoid wearing any kind of jewelry or metallic ornaments such as necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, etc

Choose a more professional attire that is comfortable to wear

Make sure that the clothes that you’re wearing do not have any metallic buttons

Headwear such as caps, hats, etc are not allowed 

Head scarves or headgear including burqas are not strictly prohibited
