Getting into SLS
SLS Results Accepted
For B.A/B.B.A,LL.B (Hons)
- The candidate are shortlisted on the basis of their SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) Scores. The shortlisted candidate then have to face Written Ability Test and Personal Interaction
- Final Selection shall be based on the combined merit list of SET score (50%) and PI-WAT (50%)
For LL.B
- Selection into the three year LL.B program is based on the combined merit list of Writing Sample and Personal Interaction
For LL.M
- Selection into the One year LL.M program is based on the performance in the Qualifying Examination, Personal Interaction and Writing Sample
SLS Eligibility
For B.A/B.B.A,LL.B (Hons)
- A candidate should have passed Std 12th (10+2) or equivalent from any recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)
- A candidate who has appeared for his/her Std 12th (10+2) or equivalent examination can apply. However, his/her admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)
- A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign Board/ University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
For LL.B
- A candidate should be a graduate from any recognized/ statutory university or institution of National Importance with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) at graduation
- A candidate who has appeared for his/her final year of graduation examination can also apply (admission will be subject to obtaining the minimum aggregate as mentioned above)
- A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign Board/ University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
For LL.M
- Three or five years LL.B degree from any Indian or Foreign University recognized by the UGC with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade [45% for SC/ST Candidates].
- Candidates who have appeared for the final year LL.B examination may also apply
- A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign Board/ University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
Diploma Courses
Diploma is offered in the following fields:
- Diploma in Taxation Law
- Diploma in International Business Laws and Corporate Business Laws in India
- Diploma in Cyber Law
- Diploma in Intellectual Property Laws
The eligibility for the diploma courses is as follows:
- A student who has passed 12th standard examination of recognized board and is pursuing 5 year law program in any law college in Pune is eligible for admission to the diploma programs conducted by Symbiosis Law school in any year
- Students who are pursuing programs, other than the law program and desiring to seek admission to the diploma program in law need to be a graduate from any statutory university and fulfil other eligibility criteria prescribed by the Symbiosis International Univeristy
For EULS
- A student who has passed 12th Standard examination of recognised board and is pursuing Under graduate program in any college in Pune is eligible for admission to the Module programs conducted by Symbiosis Law School in any year

The total intake is 300 seats (inclusive of 180 seats of B.A.,LL.B (Hons) and 120 seats of B.B.A LL.B. (Hons.).
