Exams Accepted by NLU Delhi - All India Law Entrance Test

NLU Delhi hosts the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET). Candidates are shortlisted for admission into the five-year Law (B.A.LL.B.) (H) course, LLM, and other courses through AILET. B.A.L.L.B. (H)

  • The candidate must have passed the 10 + 2 board-level examination from a recognized board with at least 50% in the aggregate.
  • The fee for B.A.L.L.B. (H) is approximately INR 1.38 lacs per year.
  • The course duration is 5 years.

B.Com. L.L.B. (Hons.)

  • HSC (10+2) degree or an equivalent examination thereto securing a minimum aggregate of 45% of the total marks (42% in case of OBC and 40% for SC/ST/Person with Disability)
  • The fee for B.Com. L.L.B. (Hons.) is approximately INR 1.38 lacs per year.
  • The course duration is 5 years.

L.L.M.

  • The candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree or equivalent examination from a recognized university with 55% overall and 50% for restricted categories.
  • The fee for L.L.M. is approximately NR 39 lacs for law specialization.
  • The course duration is 1 year.

Ph.D.

  • For law specialization, The candidate must have earned a master's degree from a recognized university with at least 55% overall.
  • The fee for a Ph.D. is approximately INR 73,000 per year.
  • The course duration is 3 years.

PG Diploma

  • The candidate must have a bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree in the appropriate specialization.
  • The fee for the PG Diploma is INR 13,000.
  • The course duration is 1 year.
