NLU Delhi Launches a New Undergraduate Program; B.Com. LL.B.(Hons.)

There is exciting news for law students targeting NLU Delhi for the upcoming academic year.  NLU Delhi has introduced a new UG Program that accounts for 60 more seats at NLU Delhi.


The selection will be done through AILET 2025 itself. So there is no need to study differently than you have already been doing or take any different exam. 


B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) Eligibility

The eligibility is the same, 45% in class 12. 


The entire AILET qualifying requirements are stated below:


- Candidates for the B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) program must have completed the 10+2 exam with at least 50% aggregate marks

- SC/ST applicants must have a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in class 12.

- There is no age limit for taking the AILET 2025 exam.

- Candidates presently in class 12 are also eligible to apply. However, they must present their passing certificate at the time of admission.


There is no restriction with respect to academic background to apply for the B.Com LL.B. course. Even if you belong to humanities, or science backgrounds in your class 12, you are eligible for the B.Com. LL.B. honors program.

B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) Seats 

The new course that is introduced B.Com. LL.B. honors will be applicable this year. There are a total of 60 seats for this, 50 seats for Indian nationals and 10 seats for foreign nationals along with OCI and PIO, persons of Indian Origin or Overseas Citizens of India.


Here also 10 seats are supernumerary seats, 5 for foreign nationals and 5 for OCI PIO candidates. If they select to appear or apply as an Indian national, then they'll have to appear for the AILET examination. And this applies to  OCI or PIO candidates.
