Students should know that the last few remaining days before the AILET exam are crucial for revisions, solving mocks as much as possible, learning how to utilize time, answering with accuracy, and so on. Below are some of the last-minute AILET preparation tips that every student appearing for the AILET exam must be aware of.

  • Avoid New Topics: Learn only what you have covered and learn them well. Adding more new topics in the last few days before the exam is a bad idea and it will only lead to confusion. There’s also a high chance that you may probably forget the ones you have already studied. So stick to whatever you have covered instead of trying to add a new topic at the last minute. Being greedy can lead to consequences.
  • Keep Your Distance From Negativity: Stay away from people who exude negativity and do not be swayed by their words. Surround yourself with positive energy that motivates, encourages, and brings out the best in you. CLAT 2025 is done and dusted, there’s no point lingering over it now. Take the learnings and move forward to not make those mistakes again.
  • Revise/Review the Topics You Covered: You may have studied a lot but it is of no use if you don’t revisit them. Hence, students are highly advised not to skip revision. Make sure that you go through the things that you have jotted down the key topics and concepts. Carefully scan the whole syllabus of AILET so that the ideas remain in your head.
  • Don’t Forget to Analyze the Mocks after Solving them: Analyzing mocks can help you identify the silly errors and mistakes you committed. Work on them and ensure that you don’t repeat the same mistakes. The more mocks you take, the more your performance will improve. This is why it is extremely important to analyze mocks after you have solved them.
  • Practice Past Years’ Questions: Look over at least 5 or more past years’ question papers of AILET and try practicing on these questions. This way you will have a better idea of the nature and types of questions. It would also enable you to understand the exam format more and the difficulty level of the AILET exam. Practicing on old question papers is the most useful way possible to find out the weak parts and fix them.
  • More and More Practice: With more practice, you will visibly see an improvement. Make sure to practice regularly and also read the newspapers. It will help you to keep momentum, thus inflating precision, and enhancing pace.
  • Understanding the Marking System: Students appearing for the AILET must be well acquainted with the marks allocation of the AILET examination. The total mark is 150. For every right attempt, students will obtain a +1 mark and for an incorrect response, the students will get a -0.25 mark. So try not to make any mistakes or avoid questions that you are not sure of.
  • Maintain a Proper Sleep Cycle: Preparing for an important exam like the AILET exam can be exhausting and good sleep is required for your body to function well. Students are highly advised to get at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep to eliminate weariness and mental tiredness. With proper sleep, you will be able to think and perform better.
  • Learn How to Manage Time: Learning how to utilize time plays a vital part in the AILET examination. Always do time-bound mock tests or while practicing sample papers. Distribute a specific time to each section and try to complete it within the set timeframe. Take a few minutes after taking the test to review.
  • Recall the Quick Methods and Formulae You Have Learned: Remembering the apt formulae and quick methods saves you plenty of time in the examination. Try not to make mistakes by ignoring them. Memorize them by heart and try to apply them whenever needed. Take notes of all the quick methods and formulae in an exercise book and revisit them.
  • Work on Precision and Pace: Precision and pace are the two most important factors that play a crucial part in the AILET examination. Both precision and pace should go hand in hand and not one thing or the other. It is pointless if you are fast-paced but with no accuracy. Remember that there is a negative marking in the examination so be wise and only attempt the questions which you are sure of getting right.
