How to get into NLU Delhi?
 
National Law University, Delhi, is one of the most prestigious law schools in India. Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates who have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination can apply for the UG program.
  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree in law can apply for the PG program.
Admission Process:
  • The primary mode of admission to NLU Delhi is through the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), which is conducted annually in December by NLU Delhi.
Exam Pattern:
  • The AILET exam consists of 150 objective-type questions that you have to answer in 90 minutes. The syllabus includes topics such as English, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning, and Elementary Mathematics.
Scores accepted by NLU Delhi:
  • NLU Delhi also accepts scores of other law entrance exams such as CLAT and LSAT, but a significant portion of seats are reserved for AILET candidates.
  • NLU Delhi also offers admission through the Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) scheme and the Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) scheme.
  • Apart from academic performance and AILET scores, NLU Delhi also considers extracurricular activities, work experience, and diversity while selecting candidates.
Admission Process:
  • Once you clear AILET, you will be called for a counseling session based on your rank.
  • During counseling, you will have to provide your preferences for the course and the college and seats will be allocated on the basis of rank and preference.
