The Consortium of National Law University (NLU) will execute the CLAT 2025 examination on the 1st December 2024. Students who are going to appear for the CLAT 2025 exam are urged to go through all the important instructions before the exam carefully.
The Consortium will soon release the official CLAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines along with the CLAT admit card. The test will be carried out in pen and paper mode for two hours (2:00 PM to 4:00 PM).
The scores obtained from the CLAT 2025 exam will be acknowledged by 25 NLUs and selected candidates will be granted admission to different law programs such as BA-LLB, BBA-LLB, B.Com-LLB, B.Sc-LLB, and LLM programs.
As per the Consortium of National Law Universities, the exam day guidelines have been already notified regarding documents to be carried and items that are not allowed to be carried. For more details, proceed reading till the end to find out.
The hall ticket for CLAT 2025 is a must-have document to be carried with you by any means to the CLAT exam center. Admit cards can be downloaded from the official CLAT website by providing their registered phone number and password.

Another important document to bring on the exam day is your identity card which is required in the exam center. Your ID card along with the admit card will be checked to allow you entrance inside the test center. CLAT exam takers are also strictly advised to keep their documents with them like aadhar cards, passports, voter IDs, driver's licenses, and so on as proof of identity.
Supposing that the photo printed on the admit card needs to be clarified, such students must bring an attested photo to the CLAT exam center. The photo you carried needs to be checked, as the photograph was printed on the CLAT 2025 admit card.
This applies to those students belonging to the category of PwD (Persons with Disability), such candidates are required to bring their disability certificate.
Considering that the CLAT 2025 examination is held offline in pen and paper mode, students must carry a blue or black ballpoint pen to the test center. Students are prohibited from using a pen of any color except blue or black color for noting on the admit card or answering on the OMR sheet.
Since drinking water may not be offered to the students by the exam center administrators, students are permitted to bring their own water bottles. But the water bottles you carry should be completely transparent. Water bottles of any other type are strictly prohibited inside the exam center.
Any electronic gadgets such as headphones, digital/smart watches, calculators, cellphones, Bluetooth speakers, etc are prohibited inside the exam center premises. However, analog watches are allowed in the exam room.
