AILET Fee Structure and Counseling Process

Are you driven to pursue a career in law and conquer the esteemed AILET exam? That's wonderful! However, before you dive into the exciting world of AILET, it's essential to understand the fee structure and counseling process. This knowledge will help you navigate the journey smoothly and avoid any unexpected surprises.

The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is a national-level law entrance exam conducted by the National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi). The exam is held every year to provide admission to the B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) program at NLU Delhi.

The AILET fee structure is as follows:

● General category: INR 3,500

● Reserved categories: INR 1,500

The fee is non-refundable and can be paid online or through a bank challan. The fee must be paid before the last date of registration, which is usually announced a few months before the exam.

The AILET counseling process is conducted in four rounds. In each round, candidates are allotted seats based on their AILET scores and preferences. Candidates who are allotted a seat in the first round are not eligible to participate in subsequent rounds.

The counseling process is conducted online. Candidates must log in to the AILET website and select their preferences. They must also pay a confirmation fee of INR 50,000 for each seat they are allotted.

The following are the steps involved in the AILET counseling process:

> Registration: Candidates must register for the counseling process on the AILET website.

> Choice filling: Candidates must fill in their choices of NLU Delhi and courses.

> Seat allotment: Candidates will be allotted seats based on their AILET scores and preferences.

> Confirmation: Candidates who are allotted a seat must pay the confirmation fee.
