National Law University Delhi, the conducting body, releases the exam day guidelines for The All-India Law Entrance Test (AILET) just a few days before the examination. The AILET exam day guidelines have to be strictly obeyed by all the candidates who are appearing for the examination so that the candidates can experience a smooth exam journey.
On the day of the exam, students are urged to arrive at the exam site on time, bringing their AILET admit card and other necessary documents that are required for the exam. Students are also expected to be on their best behavior, listen to the examiner, and not cause any trouble by bringing items that are strictly prohibited to the exam site, following the dress code are a few of the important AILET exam day guidelines that must not be taken for granted by any means.

On the day of the AILET entrance exam, it is mandatory for every candidate taking the entrance examination to follow the dress code without fail. However, students failing to abide by the rules and regulations as set by the NLUs may face consequences. Take a look at the general dress code guidelines below:
To avoid any confusion concerning the dress code, a separate dress code for the male and female candidates is given in the table below.

Shirts and T-Shirts: Simple, light-toned shirts or tees without any crazy patterns, designs, or logos.
Tops & Kurtis: Simple and decent kurtis, blouses, tops, or shirts without excessive designs or patterns.
Bottom Wears: Avoid loud colors for bottom wear and go for beige ones. Do not wear jeans and avoid any trousers that come with a lot of pockets.
Bottom Wears: Wear only soft-toned trousers, salwar, or leggings. Wearing skirts and fitted trousers is prohibited.
Footwear: Avoid wearing any sandals or slip-ons that come with metal parts. Closed shoes like sneakers are prohibited and students are not allowed to wear socks.
Footwear: Avoid wearing flats or slippers that come with metal parts. High heels and shoes with laces are prohibited.
Accessories: Avoid wearing belts with large metal buckles. Also, wearing accessories like hats, caps, chains, necklaces, bracelets, etc are prohibited.
Accessories: Avoid wearing any forms of jewelry such as bracelets, necklaces, bangles, earrings, etc. Other things to be avoided are scarves, dupattas, and stoles.
Rest, it is important to keep your calm in the two hours of the exam, leave all that happened in CLAT aside, and give your best in AILET.
