About the new CLAT Paper Pattern
The Consortium of NLUs has announced the new paper pattern for CLAT 2024. From this year, the total number of questions will be 120. The marking scheme and time limit remain the same. This means the candidate will have more time to dedicate to one question.

Here are a few implications of this change that can significantly change your approach to preparing/taking CLAT 2024.

> Section-wise time limit: Although the number of sections remains the same, the number of questions in every section will change. This means you will have more time to give to every passage on average. Make sure to maintain flexibility and take a calculated risk. Find out what is the maximum time you can give to one passage with this new pattern.

> Higher probability of negative marking: Fewer questions mean the probability of getting a negative mark increases. Make sure to work on your accuracy. That is more important than ever.

> Cut-offs will be impacted: With the total number of questions reduced by 20%, there will be a reduction in the cut-offs (not necessarily by 20%). Due to this, you must ensure that you know your mock scores. With students from across the country taking All-India Mock CLAT 2024, get your All-India Benchmarking for the revised paper pattern. This will also help get your hands on the new pattern, and get expert tips and mock analysis to improve your scores.

Good Luck!
