AILET 2022 paper was quite lengthy like 2021. The exam was conducted in a new format.

For students who prepared well for CLAT, this section was easy for them. Surprisingly, the section did not have the standalone vocabulary or grammar-based questions. The section was of moderate level but lengthy as only reading comprehension passages were there. Questions based on vocabulary and grammar (parts of speech) were all contextual. The ideal attempt in the section could be 35-38 with an ideal score ranging from 30-32.
One of the most non-intimidating sections for AILET 2022 was the General Knowledge section. Yes, non-intimidating and GK do not exactly go hand in hand, but such was the case this time. The general knowledge section was easy, and any student could have easily attempted 24-25 questions with an idle score of 20+ in this question.

This section was a special delight to law students.
The section focussed mainly on critical reasoning with just four analytical reasoning-based questions in the form of puzzles. Against the expectation, many questions were based on Syllogisms. As per the pattern change announced earlier, the section also had 7 questions from legal reasoning which were easy and a cakewalk.
An attempt of 52-55 would be regarded as a good attempt for the students with an idle score of 47+.
Overall, the paper could very well be regarded as easy to moderate.
