This section will assess a candidate's interest in law, legal acumen, and problem-solving abilities. Legal prepositions and a collection of facts will be used to form questions. Candidates must answer the questions assuming the integrity of the prepositions and drawing well-supported inferences.

This section is designed to assess the candidate's ability to recognize patterns, and logical relationships, and correct illogical arguments. It will consist of broad comparisons, argument completion, deriving well-supported conclusions, reasoning by analogy, and applying principles or norms. It comprises logical reasoning as well as rules or principles that characterize the relationship between people, objects, or events.

This section will include questions on vocabulary (synonyms, antonyms, analogies, etc.), proficiency (idioms and phrases, one-word substitution, sentence improvement and rearrangement, fill-in-the-blanks, etc.)

English usage errors (common errors, spotting errors, inappropriate usage of words, spelling mistakes, etc.), English comprehension with at least two passages followed by five to ten questions testing reading and reasoning abilities.

This component is designed to assess candidates' numerical abilities. Profit and loss, speed and distance, time and work, algebra, average, and Venn diagram problems will be assigned beginning with the 10th standard.
